I downloaded the Adobe Revel app and after logging in was excited to see the photos pop up right in the app on my phone. It was fun to see them appear pretty quickly in the Elements 12 Organizer. Then I dragged and dropped a few photos into my album. I went to Adobe Revel online and signed in with my Adobe ID. I couldn’t wait to test out the mobile albums. Any edits you make are updated across all devices. It also makes it easy to bring all of your photos and videos from your mobile devices into your computer. You can view them on your smartphone or tablet. When you combine mobile albums and Adobe Revel you are able to access your photos and videos wherever you go. To start off with I have to share two of my favorite new features that is available for both programs.

You can choose the one which most closely matches your experience and understanding, and it's also possible to switch modes halfway through editing.Photography has come a long way. In general, though, the Quick, Guided and Expert modes in the Editor now blend really well. You can carry out basic photo fixes both in the Organizer and the Editor's Quick mode, and it's not made clear which you should use and why. There are still some confusing aspects, though. It's also very good at introducing novices to basic image-editing processes via the Editor's Quick mode, leading them through common editing tools and operations in its Guided mode and then letting them loose in the Expert mode.
It's a very effective double-act, and makes Elements look even better value. You use the Organizer to browse, search and organise your pictures into albums, and the Editor to carry out image enhancements on specific photos. Ease of useĮlements actually comes in two parts: the Organizer and the Editor. The need for an Internet connection means that you may sometimes be unable to access all your photos on all your devices. You set up Mobile Albums in the Organizer, and these are automatically made available to your mobile device using Adobe's free Revel app.

This may make you twitchy if you're already put off by Photoshop's move to a subscription-based payment system, and if you're a Mac user you already get Apple's competing Photo Stream system for nothing, so you may need some convincing that Adobe's system is better.
